Review interview transcripts and analysis

Connect a meeting

Your IT administrator must first enable Teams transcript import and approve the organizer. This is separate from Outlook installation and Microsoft sign-in. Teams must produce a transcript for the meeting.

1. Open the interview in Evidize and find Transcript & analysis.
2. If you can manage the interview, choose Connect Teams meeting. Enter the approved organizer's Microsoft object ID, the Teams join URL, and the occurrence's start and end in your time zone.
3. For a recurring meeting, use the specific interview occurrence's times. A shared join URL alone does not identify the occurrence.
4. Choose Refresh status to view the latest import state. The scheduled importer checks linked meetings every two minutes, with backoff when Microsoft asks it to wait.

To correct an association, detach the incorrect meeting and link the correct occurrence. Detaching stops new imports for that association; existing evidence retains its source history.

Read and search evidence

Select a source version, search the text, and move through the passage pages. Speaker names and timestamps appear when Microsoft provided them. Unattributed text remains visible without invented speakers or times.

Use Download to obtain the authorized source. Earlier versions remain associated with their original citations. A summary's View passage control opens the exact cited passage, including an earlier source version when applicable.

Downloads contain interview evidence. Handle them according to your organization's access and retention policy.

Summary, evidence, and credits

Analysis is currently unavailable. You can import and review transcripts without enabling analysis or purchasing an analysis action.

Import and reading work independently of AI availability and credit balance. When your organization's AI settings permit it, analysis produces a summary, competency evidence, question coverage, and uncertainty notes linked to source passages.

The transcript-analysis action costs 10 credits for the initial completed interview analysis. Credits are reserved before processing and settled on completion; a failed action releases its reservation. Technical retries and automatic updates for late transcript segments do not charge again for that initial analysis.

If you deliberately change the assessment context and request another analysis, review its separate quote before confirming. Analysis cannot override your organization's AI controls. An unavailable or paused analysis does not remove the imported transcript.

Read the cited evidence and check uncertainty before using a summary. This feature does not generate ratings or change your scorecard, candidate ranking, integrity verdict, or hiring decision.

Resolve import problems

• Waiting or unavailable: confirm the interview has ended and transcription was enabled. The importer waits up to 24 hours with bounded retries. A missing transcript cannot be recovered by transcribing a recording here.
• Access denied or connection revoked: ask IT to review the bound tenant, transcript consent, organizer policy, and Evidize organizer allowlist. Repeated retries cannot grant access.
• Throttled or temporary service error: leave the durable retry in progress; Microsoft may require a delay.
• Incorrect association: an authorized interview manager can detach and relink the correct meeting occurrence.
• Retry available: after resolving the cause, an authorized manager can use Retry import. A retry is not an AI analysis purchase.

Send support the interview reference and safe error code. Do not paste transcript content or Microsoft credentials into a support message.

Retention and access

Transcript access follows the interview's authorized reviewer access. Organization membership alone does not grant access to every interview. Retention, preservation holds, authorized exports, and deletion apply to sources and analysis.

Deleting transcript evidence stops pending work and suppresses automatic reimport. A preservation hold can prevent deletion. Disconnecting Microsoft stops new access but does not itself erase retained evidence. Interviews containing Microsoft bindings or transcripts cannot currently be transferred to another organization.
